Re: NVGC - Nintendo Video Game Club
I voted for animal crossing because I
1- actually bought the game
and
2- it's actually a big step forward for the series

I voted for Project X Zone because my copy is pre-ordered.

I vote Animal Crossing, its really good compared to City Folk and Wild World. So far I haven't gotten bored of it.
And Blaze that's a poor reason to vote for something. Even if Project X Zone is pretty fun.

Re: NVGC - Nintendo Video Game Club
Well, what am I suppose to say? I don't know much about the game other than it has a whole bunch of characters from pretty dead series coming together into one game. It's basically Dissidia for Namco Bundai, Capcom, and Sega characters. Not only that, but I don't have AC yet nor do I have plans to buy it anytime soon.
And your reason why AC is picked is poor, too. It's just your opinion, there's no real discussion built on that.

I don't know anything about the game, maybe why you think its interesting.
Next time I'll cast my vote based on facts, I guess. ;P
Anyways now that you played the game, you have something to say right? D:

Re: NVGC - Nintendo Video Game Club
Well you should, maybe we could discuses it. Btw in the the later chapters its better to play one chapter at a time since battles start to really get lengthy after the first 5 chapters. Or just use the quicksave feature which normally I don't like it because I'll just forget what I was doing during the battle, it's not as bad in this game as it is in something like Fire Emblem since that requires a lot more strategy in placement and enemy match ups. the only real strategy is item management.
Anyways, any games any of you are look forward to next month?

Re: NVGC - Nintendo Video Game Club
I just now picked it up and played through Chapter 2, but it's pretty fun. I like how they're finding unique ways to mix different characters into one chapter, but I hate it when they introduce a bit too many characters, like in the last Prologue.
I am looking forward to Shin Megami Tensei IV next month! That's my biggest desire!

Re: NVGC - Nintendo Video Game Club
It's a bit of overload during the prologue but then they start to slow down and you get a few at time. I think it's at least 1 pair and 1 solo unit every chapter after a point. I played 18 more chapters than you and I still don't have everyone.
Yeah I think that's the only game I'm looking forward to in July also. I don't know much about the main series but you said it was good the spin off games have been good, almost every Atlus game I've played has been good. So it's probably good.

Re: NVGC - Nintendo Video Game Club
The only characters I really know in the game are from Capcom and .hack// series. The others are leaving me a blank, but some of the characters make me interested in their game, like God Eaters.
Yeah, not only that, but it has been a decade since the third Shin Megami Tensei game came out, and that game is a cult classic for being notoriously difficult.

Re: NVGC - Nintendo Video Game Club
Yeah I don't know many of the characters, I've heard of the games but most of the things are unknown.
Also, the unboxing of the SMTIV LE. Also it seems this game is only worth it if you buy it at launch, digital version is also 49.99. Not sure where I'm going to put it since, its not a regular sized 3DS cases. And it's probably a little bigger than the KH3D LE.

Re: NVGC - Nintendo Video Game Club
Just thought I should add, if you bought Fire Emblem Awakening, you should probably consider picking up Shin Megami Tensei IV (Both Physical & Digital, I highly recommend the Physical copy of SMT IV). Register both by 8/31 on Club Nintendo and get $30 in eShop credit. So 5-10 dollars for pretty much any full retail game. Or save it for 10 dollar Pokemon X or Y.
Really nice deal, extends to all Fire Emblem purchasers, even the Awakening LE 3DS.
Sucks, that Soul Hackers, deal is ending 7/14 otherwise I would of got that. ;\
