Pokémon Sprite Contest

This
is a simple Contest to see who the best sprite maker out there is. Let’s see I
have but a few rules and you will oblige by them as follows:

1. No copying other people’s work.

2. You will use Diamond/Pearl/Platinum sprites unless told
otherwise

3. The theme will be chosen by the previous theme winner.

4. You MUST follow the theme.

5. No complaining about things how you didn’t make it in the top 4
with the others who did.

Since
there was no previous theme, the theme will be chosen by me, I am the judge for
winners and stuff. Among other things, try to make your sprites as best as
possible. If the theme requires a background, do NOT simply go to
deviantart.com or some other picture hosting site and copy from there, I WILL
find out where you got the backgrounds from, please you Photoshop, Paint.NET,
or any other painting program you can think of.

It means like, make a sprite of a pokémon who blends in with a background of your choosing. Like a Zangoose to snow, or a Marill to water.

For the theme, you could rephrase it as, "Make a Pokemon sprite that mixes into the background. Example: A sandstorm background with a Flygon." Be sure to add an example; those help a lot. Smile

P.S. pokemon that are mixed with other pokemon are called "splices".

I know what a splice is, but the theme does not specify for a splice, and as such, you should have read the theme, instead of skipping over it, really, you should have read the WHOLE thing and not just the theme.

This looks rushed, but since you got the background to match the pokemon, I guess it isn't BAD. But, it looks as if you just copied an image from the internet and made it smaller.

and yeah i did just copy the backround off the internet, but i tried to do my own and it sucked!

If you read any of the rules on forums, you would know that Double Posting is bad. Triple posting is bad as well. If maybe you read the rules before you posted, maybe you wouldn't have broken them.

Yes, I did just copy the background from the internet, but I tried to do my own background and it didn't look very well.

The world will be a better place when proper grammar is learned.
