Discuss strategy for Tyranitar (also known as Ttar).

Tyranitar's stats are best suited as a Physical Tank (can take hits, can give hits) however with a 400% weakness to fighting, Ttar may not last long against an opponent with a large move pool and may best be switched to a flying or psychic type occasionally.

Ttar's ability will create a sand storm for the rest of the match (as long as a move like Sunny Day isn't used) giving an advantage to rock, steel and ground types (and a team based around said types).

Ttar's better offensive attacks include Crunch, Earthquake and Stone Edge.

Pros:
Good move pool.
Great Stats.
Good ability (Sand Stream) with right team.
A lot of type advantages (total 7 including complete resistance to Psychic).

Cons:
Takes 400% damage from fighting attacks.
Type weaknesses in general (total 6 including fighting).
Low speed.
Bad ability (Sand Stream) with wrong team.

some good items include

life orb--raises atk power, but slowly saps health when damage is dealt
muscle band--slightly raises the power of physical moves
zoom lens--accuracy increases if user is attcked by the foe in the first turn

Hmm... your Tyranitar suggestions don't look nice... Rock Polish is rather unnecessary.

Tyranitar @ Choice Band
Adamant (252 Atk, 196 Spd, 60 HP)
-Crunch
-Stone Edge
-Pursuit
-Earthquake

A nice Choice Band Tyranitar, it takes a whole lot out of opponents.

Tyranitar @ Leftovers
Rash (252 HP, 188 Sp. Atk, 68 Atk)
-Substitute
-Focus Punch
-Ice Beam / Thunderbolt
-Dark Pulse

Tyrani-Boah from Advance Gen. It creates 101 HP Subs so Blissey can't break them. Ice Beam is for Garchomp, Salamence, and Grass types, while Thunderbolt is for Skarmory, Suicune, and Gyarados.

And then of course, there's DD-Tar.
