This week on WWPL

The third Season 3 tournament, The Double Up Tournament, is no longer accepting sign ups, and the brackets are up.The tournament will feature the best battlers that you can find on WWPL so think about joining the next one! Also, The SSBB Retro tournament is now up. Find your opponent and brawl! If you want something that you might find hilarious check the Art Section. Latios and Hyper have made some pretty humorous pictures, and I guarantee you will get a good laugh.
Lastly, the Member of the Month is now over.Congratulations Dragon9! You are the winner, and it is a great honor to be the member of the month. Take pride in this accomplishment. That's it! Overall, there are many new things in WWPL. Just look around, and I'm sure you'll see!

The Nintendo DSi

During the Nintendo Fall Press Conference, Nintendo announced a new version of the DS. It is called the DSi and is slightly thinner along with many other improvements. The handheld's screens have been enlarged. There will be additions for audio, and it will also now include a .3 megapixel camera. The DSi also features an SD memory card slot, making it possible to take pictures with the DSi and then view them on the Nintendo Wii. The DSi features a built-in browser, and it may be possible to download games and keep them on the DSi. It will supposedly be out next year for the US and other countries, and it will be released in Japan on the first of November.*

The Best Battler

The Best Battler Thread is now underway. Who will win? YOU decide! Dragon9 has won several tournaments, and he has won all the tournaments so far in Season 3. Fan1 won Season 2 and finished runner up in the 2nd tournament of this season, losing to Dragon9 in the finals. Bennet3 has made top 4 in all the tournaments this season. Sarge51 finished runner up, losing to dragon9 in the finals of the 1st tournament this season. Landon finished top 4 in the 2nd tournament after being knocked out by Dragon9. Hellrider made top 4 in the first tournament this season after being knocked out by Sarge51. The vote will be over on the 28th of October, so vote soon!

Disagaea DS!

Disgaea is like final fantasy tactics,but only better.The popular Rpg tactical game is now released in stores as of September 23 2008!
After taking a 2 year nap you awaken to find out that your father, the overlord of the Netherworld, has died. Now you must take on any challengers who try to claim the title of overlord and defeat them.

The learning curve of the game is easy. With team combos and making your ideal team this game will keep you busy for hours. In the game there's a group
called the Dark assembly. You go to this group when you want to pass bills and ask for stronger weapons, if the voting doesn't work out for you then you can persuade the dark assembly through force!

One of the many things that makes this game so fun is its lasting appeal.This
game will eat up hours of your time and you won't even feel it. You can level up to 9999 not only that but you can go into the "item world" and make your weapons stronger providing you wit endless customization!

My personal favorite touch to this game is the multiplayer feature, unfortunately it isn't wifi however it'll keep you busy. You can battle but you can buy weapons off your friends! Not only is Disgaea ds fun, but what surprises me the most is that this game only costs 30$, which is definatly worth your money. Interested?
