Riddles! Empty Riddles!

Okay, here's the rules: The person who guesses the riddle first correctly wins and is able to say a riddle of their own choice. It doesn't really have to be a riddle either, it could be a "There's 4 squares, make a triangle" or something like that. Don't use that example. Anyway, I'll start:

The letter "E". Lol I still remember that from a girl I had a crush on in 8th grade.

Ok now,

A black dog stands in the middle of an intersecton in a town painted black. None of the street lights are working due to a power failure caused by a storm. A car with two broken headlights drives towards the dog but turns in time to avoid hitting him. How could the driver have seen the dog in time?

No, since back then, coming back from a day and leaving from a day didn't count as a day. So Monday and Tuesday = 2 days.
