Double Elimination Tournament Winning Team
Modest Heatran (Fuel Me) @ Leftovers
252 HP / 80 Defense / 176 Sp. Attack
Moveset:
~ Flamethrower
~ Will-o-Wisp
~ Stealth Rock
~ Hidden Power [Grass] 68
- I pretty much feels like it can counter most lead while still setting up a Stealth Rock like other leads. The Defense EVs is a little support after the burn to take things like Earthquakes and Fighting type attacks. Modest Nature to be dealing 1HKO to rather weak fragile leads.
Azelf: Can't do a thing to Heatran. It absorbs the Flamethrower or Fire Blast, Pyschic & Explosion are ineffective. Its set up Stealth Rock as he will most likely do. Will-o-Wisp will break the sash and make Explosion rather useless. Or hit the incoming Pokemon with the Will-o-Wisp incase of switch.
Aerodactyl: Mostly likely will use Taunt first turn and gives time for Heatran to Hidden Power Grass and deal about [Pending Damage]. Then switch to something to counter.
Swampert: Will-o-Wisp it on sight. Heatran should take the Earthquake rahter well. Hopefully a Hidden Power Grass will finish it off.
Infernape: Switch out to Crobat & Aerial Ace. Nothing Heatran can do about Infernape leads. Can't burn it or deal much damage.
Machamp: Anti-Leads have No Guard so no worries about Guts. Will-o-Wisp and switch out to a counter.
Metagross: Its Steel type it should be scared.
Jirachi: Is taken down as easy as Metagross.
Heatran: Never seen another Heatran lead not sure what to expect. A switch to Quagsire to take a Earthpower or Earthquake.
Impish Quagsire (DrFeelgood) @ Leftovers
252 HP / 96 Attack / 160 Defense
Moveset:
~ Earthquake
~ Stone Edge
~ Recover
~ Yawn
- Swampert would seem like the better choice. Earthquake is to hit Steel Types and Stone Edge for the Flying Types that avoid Earthquake. Skarmory the only Pokemon that completely is unaffected by Quagsire. It can also absorb water attacks targeting Heatran.
Jolly Crobat (Collector) @ Choice Band
40 HP / 252 Attack / 176 Speed / 20 Defense / 20 Sp. Defense
Moveset:
~ Aerial Ace
~ X-Sisscor
~ Cross Poison
~ Pursuit
- It sounds somewhat strange. Crobat aren't known much for sweeping. Most of the time they would expect a support Crobat to use Hypnosis or Taunt and U-turn out. It brings some pain if they aren't expecting it to. It has 374 Speed to take out even the fastest Alakzams. There isn't much I can do having it at max speed anyways. Jolteon destorys it still. Weavile is still going to hit it hard with a Ice Shard. It has some Defensive EVs and HP EVs for a bulkier set.
Timid Rotom (Waking) @ Choice Specs
4 HP / 252 Sp. Attack / 252 Speed
Moveset:
~ Shadow Ball
~ Charge Beam
~ Trick
~ Confuse Ray
- Used to trick then confuse them. Not only are you stuck using the same move. You're going to only have a 50% chance of actually hitting. Not the best odds. It could get annoying at times. Charge Beam is to gain the lost Choice Specs power. Both Shadow Ball & Charge Beam for STAB. It work better with Pokemon it can outrun.
Adamant Scizor (Hyperpower) @ Life Orb
32 HP / 252 Attack / 224 Speed
Moveset:
~ U-Turn
~ Superpower
~ Bullet Punch
~ Quick Attack
- Just ready to take a life. It comes in Bullet Punches or Quick Attacks. Takes out something with a Superpower or U-turn. Pretty Standard. Max attack to take every advantage to finish a Pokemon off. Don't want to have something survive.
Hasty Azelf (SlowPoison) @ Focus Sash
4 Attack / 252 Speed / 252 Sp. Attack
Moveset:
~ Explosion
~ Flamethrower
~ Psychic
~ Thunderbolt
Its like a Lead Azelf but for later game use. It comes in picks off the weaker Pokemon Explodes to complete its success. Focus Sash is just incase of no entry hazards. This might not be the best item to use for a later game but, it might impact the game more drastically if the sash isn't broken.
