New Domain?

What domain should we choose for the site?

Our old one was www.pokemonwifi.org, which is still available if we want it, however with us concentrating less and less on wifi, I'm not sure how relevant such a domain would be...

What do you guys think the new domain should be?  Post your suggestions below and I'll add them to the poll here

I dunno this one still sounds good, not too broad and kind of easy to search for. but maybe we should see what are the most popular pokemon searches...

i like the name, however the name must be chosen according to the intention of the site, and it also has to be trendy and easy to find. I like the idea of pokemon wifi, but we have to think about if it really will bring people here.

Pokemon Battle is several times more searched than Pokemon Wifi or Pokemon Wi-Fi. PokemonBattle.org doesn't sound too bad.

I'm pretty sure that one is still available.  I've added it to the poll.

Edit: Heck, pokemonbattle.com is still available too...

I plan on making it back here, despite not getting around to getting White 2.
I'll probably get Pokemon X/Y though; dunno which one yet.

OT: My vote goes for pokemonbattle.com though.

You think it would be taken but nope people rather have other domain names that sound extreme, long and are complicated.

I have to say either pokemonleague.com or pokemonbattle.com. I voted the first one, but I feel that pokemonleague.com may be somewhat misleading, so pokemonbattle.com or a variation would be the best option. It's simple, it's to the point, and it would be more likely to attract the members we need.

I voted for pokemonbattle.com because it seems like it'll attract more members. pokemonbattle.org wouldn't work since we aren't an organization. pokemonleague is another good choice, and it goes well with our name, but its name won't get us as many members as pokemonbattle.

well, i don't know much about this stuff but what about pokemonbattle.net? and if not then pokemonwifibattle.com

We are definitely an organization?  We're certainly not a commercial business?  There's no money being made here?  O_o

Also according to godaddy a lot of these aren't available, but the .org versions of them are available...

Because if so, I can get our domain tonight.

Pokemon League and Pokemon Battle are both pretty solid names, but battle is searched a lot more than league (Proof:http://www.google.com/trends/explore?q=pokemon+battle#q=pokemon%20battle%2C%20pokemon%20league&cmpt=q).

Also if battlepokemon.com is available, that flows a little better for me than pokemonbattle.com.

pokemonbattle.com should be ready for X/Y release.

I still type in wwpl.phpbb9.com to this day. Loved this place.

Anyway, I think we should start reviving this forum near the end of September or the beginning of October. I'll help fuel the (tiny) fire right now, but we should start soon.

i've been coming often since that last revival, i'll try to help.
