Wolf apparently out-dueled Umbreon in the tournament's first match to send him into the semis. This was a closer match than I expected, but it seems wolf managed to overpower his opponent, umbreon, the newest gym leader. A strong showing by the 8 seed.

2 Hypergamer def 3 escapingreality 1-0 after multiple "mysterious disconnections" hypergamer finally pulled away with a close 1-0 win, due to a lucky attack which froze esr's last pokemon. So far, the closest match of the tournament.

A delayed match that was finished this morning. Wolf dispatched of savage, having the momentum the whole way.
