i have recently bought a new pokemon platinum game as my first one i gave to my sis, i've got an eevee that i want to evolve into an umbreon, but will i need to beat the elite four first?

Piece of advice, everytime i need to check what lv or how a pokemon evolves I try the pokedex at pokemonmarriland
