The status of the site.

Alright, since we've now reached post warzone-like levels of inactivity, it's time to actually decide what we, as a community want to do with the site.

The site's domain (www.pokemonwifi.org) runs out in 4 days, so we need to decide what name we want to change that to (if any) and what we're going to do as far as this terrible activity is concerned.

I'm up for anything and I'm willing to make up for how useless I've been in the past few months, so all suggestions are welcome and thanks in advance for your input.

We need to get new members, but I'm not entirely sure where from. Affiliates are hard to come by, and advertising usually doesn't work. As for the domain name, we can renew it or ignore it. It might not matter in the end.

Maybe instead of a pokemon theme we could just make it a general gaming tournament site. There's plenty of games out there that people play online besides pokemon. This will get activity up and more participation in tournaments

My Suggestion is similar to this.

We become a multi-gaming community.
Each Staff member will be responsible for 4-5 WiFi Games apiece.
They will hold tournaments and such for their games that they are responsible over.

As for me I can do any Wii game on the market. Seeing as I have hacked my Wii.

One of the games I would like to coordinate is MarioKart Wii.
Plus anyother Wii games you guys may think will pick up business.

That sounds like a good idea, but I think first we should also have people responsible for articles and other kinda entertainment related stuff around the site too. Like, I could do those comics and hyper could do his playthrough of pokemon red or something.

I could help with all of the XBL gaming stuff if that would help out.

I'm writing articles for a 'Type of the Month', so if you guys want me to put it on this site, I will.

is there a way to send an email to every member that ever registered and ask them if they want to be in a huge 32 man pokemon tournemant? we should try if possible

yes there is a way Latios can do it. I have been here just not on chat and have not posted because of no one else posting really but anyway.

There should be a tool in the administration panel where he can search for members that have not been active for a certain amount of days then he can send an email to all of members at the same time.

I would suggest searching for members that have not been active for 14 days to start with.

Just a suggestion. I have got banned from a lot of pokemon xats for advertising. Sorry I have not been much help.
