What this topic is specificaly about, is to help YOU, the G.A.M.E.R.S(Galactic)(Ass kickers, sorry for the language)(Master)(Explodable)(Room)(Sacrificers), beat Kirby: Superstar Ultra. First, we'll start out with the simple control system(DS)



GROUND ACTIONS:


Pressing the --> button on the DS allows you to walk, the basic movement in K:STR. UL.

Pressing the --> button TWICE will allow you to dash, you can do this if practiced in the first practice stage.

The L and R buttons allow you to guard, or, protect you from attacks. This will be useful in many cases in close combat.

The down button on the control pad of the DS will allow you to crouch, you can pass through some floors by just crouching in the game.

The slide can be activated by pressing the down, and the A or Y buttons. This will be useful for taking out enimies if you have no Copy Ability(talked about later in the guide).




DOOR AND LADDER ACTIONS:


Pressing the up button on the control pad allows you to enter doors, or use ladders, which will be convient most of the time when you are playing K: STR UL.

MIDAIR ACTIONS

The A or Y buttons allow you to jump into the air, the basic jump for K: STR UL.

When jumping, you can press the A or Y buttons repeatedly to "float", or stay in the air. This will help in many situations when you have no Copy Ability(still to come).

When in the air, with no Copy Ability, you can still defeat enimies by pressing the B button. Kirby will exhale air, causing him to deafeat any nearby enimies.



WATER ACTIONS

By using the control pad, and the A and Y buttons, you can float upward, and swim through even the toughest of currents.

Pressing the B button will enable you to shoot water, deafeating any nearby enimies.


ATTACK ACTIONS


Pressing the B button will enable you to inhale, and swallow your foes.

If you press the B button again, you will spit the foe out, causing it to die.

If you leave the opponent in your mouth, you can press the X, or the down button on your control pad to swallow your foes. This will enable your Copy Ability(swallowing normal foes will not have any effect on you.).


COPY ABILITY ACTIONS

Pressing the B button will enable your Copy Ability, once you have swallowed your foe of course. Every enemy(except normal ones) will have special abilities for you to copy. I will explain these later on in the Guide.

Ever need help battling bosses or foes? Pressing the X button will summon a "helper", or, a foe(in this case a friend) will help you. This will cause you to lose your current Copy Ability, so choose your Helper causes wisely!
