Idea For Getting New Members

Just throwing it out there, but most people know of the competitive gaming site Gamebattles, right? Well my idea is that we make 1 or 2 teams of 1-4 people and they have matches with other teams. Afterwards, they kindda mention this site in the feedback section of the other teams profile. Granted this will not work as well as I think it will. On paper it seems like a great idea, but I'd give it a low success rate based on previous actions on trying to recruit members. Although if some of our more experienced battlers or brawlers ( admins and mods) were to pitch in, I believe that upon seeing what great and skillful players we have on the site, the odds of reeling more members in will increase drastically. All in all this is just an idea I have while I was veiwing my profile there, so please tell me what you think ( mostly the admins and mods' opinions are what I'm looking for).

I am planing on going ahead and doing this myself in my battles, that is why I'm having a poll too. I would like your opinions.

It probably would fail, but it could possibly work. I don't know if there are enough good battlers here to do that that.

Latios is, from what I heard, a great battler, but he retired. We have a couple of alright members, but it's worth a shot.

From memory Latios' record was over 200 wins to 0 losses.

The problem was that Latios no longer has access to wifi though.

My internet isn't wireless and my USB connector-dealio is corrupted. (plus I dont really feel compelled to compete anymore)

We could still put together a good team though-- espescially if we could convince fan and bennet to return to the site.

I wasn't expecting you to be on a team, latios. I had known you'd retired so I was suggesting those like masterman and the other mods. Although I am unaware if masterman plays pokemon or brawl.

Also I also forgot to mention this idea could be use for brawl members too. Gamebattles has a ssbb section too.

if you cannot get a pokemon team together, why not a brawl team?

I'm sorry but this idea would most likely fail because people tend to just leave right after matches are over. So, yeah you might have a slight chance to get members but it may not work.
